アムステルダムを拠点とするヴェイパー･ウェイヴ･アーティスト Generaction X が、2022年5月にインドネシア発のヴェイパー･ウェイヴ系インディー･レーベル Enterprise Records からリリースしたテープ作品をストックいたしました！本作では、1980年代〜90年代の日本のポップス/CM /歌謡曲、あるいは当時のテレビ番組の音源を絶妙にサンプリング。そして原曲をチョップ＆スクリュー、さらにエフェクトを深くかけたりすることで、まるで水の中にいるような感覚や、伸びきったカセットテープを聴いているような感覚を意図的に作り出した、どこか不気味で退廃的なヴェイパー･ウェイヴの美学をストレートに体現した作品に仕上がっております！

We are now stocking the cassette release from Amsterdam-based vaporwave artist Generaction X, originally issued in May 2022 via the Indonesian vaporwave/indie label Enterprise Records! This release features exquisite sampling of Japanese pop music, TV commercials, *kayōkyoku* (classic pop songs), and TV broadcasts from the 1980s and 90s. By applying "chopped and screwed" techniques and heavy effects to the source material, the artist intentionally evokes sensations—such as being submerged underwater or listening to a stretched-out cassette tape—resulting in a work that perfectly embodies a somewhat eerie, decadent vaporwave aesthetic.
