萃点【TAPE】- EVISBEATS & Nagipan

EVISBEATS が Nagipan とのコラボレーション･アルバムをリリース！本作は2024年に Nagipan が和歌山に拠点を移したことをきっかけに、同地に暮らす EVISBEATS と交差。2025年1月から毎週スタジオに集まって続けられた、その対話と創造の積み重ねが音楽として結晶化された作品。タイトルの『萃点』は、南方熊楠が遺した造語「萃点（すいてん）」に由来し"さまざまな物や事柄が集まり、影響し合う場所"を意味するこの言葉を通して、EVISBEATS と Nagipan の2人が和歌山の風土/神社/山河、そしてそこに生きる人々から受けた印象を音に映し出した。静けさの中に潜む熱、異なる視点が交差する瞬間、その土地でしか生まれ得ない響きが、ドラマティックでローファイなヒップホップの温もりとともに立ち上がっていく。

EVISBEATS has released a collaborative album with Nagipan! This album was born out of a connection between EVISBEATS, who lives in Wakayama, and Nagipan, who moved there in 2024. The two met weekly in the studio starting in January 2025, and their ongoing dialogue and creative endeavors crystallized into music. The title "Sui-ten" (Suiten) comes from the word "Sui-ten" (Suiten), coined by Kumagusu Minakata. This word means "a place where various things and events gather and influence each other." Through this word, EVISBEATS and Nagipan channeled their impressions of Wakayama's landscape, shrines, mountains, rivers, and people into sound. The heat lurking in the silence, the moment when different perspectives intersect, and the unique sounds that can only be born in this place emerge alongside the warmth of dramatic, lo-fi hip-hop.
