米ワシントンD.C.を拠点のインディペンデント･レーベル Future Times 主宰、エレクトロニック･デュオ Beautiful Swimmers の片翼であり、Max D 名義などでも知られる Andrew Field-Pickering が TTT のために約90分間の7インチ･オンリー･ミックスを製作。様々なエイリアスを使い分ける彼のこれまでの作風とは一線を画し、激動のワシントンD.C.出身の彼のルーツと言える、ハードコア/パンク･シーンの反骨精神を体現した本作。スラッシュとスノットで満ち溢れたA面、一転してネオンの煌めくシンセ･ブギーや、どこか不器用なインダストリアル･サウンドへと展開していくB面。本人曰く、「ハードコアとパンク、スカーズとフリークな曲が満載。だって今の時代は間違いなくスカーズでフリークだからね」とのこと。

Andrew Field-Pickering, head of the Washington D.C.-based independent label Future Times, one half of the electronic duo Beautiful Swimmers, and also known by his Max D moniker, has produced a 90-minute 7-inch-only mix for TTT. This work marks a departure from his previous style, which utilizes various aliases, and embodies the rebellious spirit of the hardcore/punk scene that is his roots in the turbulent Washington D.C. culture. Side A is filled with thrash and snout, while Side B shifts to neon-glowing synth boogie and somewhat clumsy industrial sounds. According to him, "It's full of hardcore and punk, scars and freak tracks. Because this is definitely a scars and freak era."
