ロシアの Lo Factory 傘下 Kick A Dope Verse! からリリースされた前作も話題となった、東京在住のビートメーカー Jazzy Afro。これまで1stアルバム “Black Sensitizes”、2ndアルバム “Mystic Blue”と、色をテーマに据えてきた流れの中で、「赤褐色」を意味する Auburn（オーバーン） と、サンプリング文化やカセットテープを想起させる Rewind を組み合わせて名付けられたという本作。ジャズの音源を軸にサンプリングを重ね、90’s HIPHOPへの敬愛を感じる黒いグルーヴを感じさせる、控えめでありながらも聴く人を引き込む優美で洗練された全13曲を収録！

Jazzy Afro, a Tokyo-based beatmaker whose previous album, released on Kick A Dope Verse!, a subsidiary of Russia's Lo Factory, also generated buzz. Following a similar theme of color in his previous albums, "Black Sensitizes" and "Mystic Blue," this album is named after the combination of "Auburn," meaning "reddish-brown," and "Rewind," evocative of sampling culture and cassette tapes. The album features 13 tracks, each understated yet captivatingly elegant and sophisticated, featuring layered samples of jazz music and a black groove that evokes a deep respect for '90s hip-hop.
