10代でデビューして以来、現代エレクトロニック･シーンにおける最大の異才の一人として世界的な評価を得る Nicolás Jaar 主宰、Other People より非常にコンセプチュアルで美しいテープ作品がドロップ。このプロジェクトは、音楽/文学/学術/社会活動など、異なるバックグラウンドを持つ5人のアーティストのコラボレーションによって誕生したもので、プロデューサーである Nicolás Jaar をはじめとする多才なメンバーが、オンライン上で約13ヶ月間にわたって対話を重ね、それぞれの環境の音や表現を持ち寄って作り上げられました。『Convergence（収束･融合）』というタイトル通り、日常の具体的な音や環境音を取り入れた現代音楽の手法であるミュージック･コンクリート/ポエトリー･リーディング/アンビエント/ネオ･クラシカルなど、さまざまな要素が混ざり合ったドキュメンタリーのような作品に仕上がっております。

A highly conceptual and beautiful cassette release has arrived from Other People, the label founded by Nicolás Jaar—an artist who has garnered global acclaim as one of the most unique talents in the contemporary electronic music scene since his teenage debut. This project was born from a collaboration among five artists with diverse backgrounds spanning music, literature, academia, and social activism; led by producer Nicolás Jaar, the multifaceted group engaged in an online dialogue over the course of approximately 13 months, crafting the work by pooling sounds and forms of expression from their respective environments. True to the title *Convergence*, the result is a documentary-like piece that blends a variety of elements—including *musique concrète* (incorporating concrete, everyday, and environmental sounds), poetry reading, ambient music, and neo-classical styles.
