The Soft Moon, the solo project of Luis Vasquez, known for his dark, minimal wave post-rock sound, sadly passed away in January 2024 at the young age of 44. His fourth album, released in 2018 on the prestigious Scared Bones label, is now available on a limited edition cassette! More introspective than ever, this album was created after a struggle with inner demons. The lyrics, which explore childhood trauma and a descent into darkness, are raw and poignant, while the spitting vocals and ferocious industrial beats further accelerate the swirling emotions in this compelling album.
