ロンドンから最先端のアンビエント/エレクトロニック/実験音楽を発信する SWIMS。当レーベルの共同設立者であり、Kit Records の創設者･マルチ奏者の Richard Greenan、ブエノスアイレスを拠点に活動するチェロ奏者･実験音楽家の Violeta Garcia、そして南アフリカ出身のヴァイオリニスト兼作曲家 Galina Juritz という3人の音楽家による、実験的な即興演奏によるエレクトロ･アコースティック/ミニマリズム作品をストックいたしました。本作は2022年に Violeta Garcia がロンドンにて滞在制作を行った際に生まれた作品で、ヴァイオリン/チェロ/エレキ･ベース/アナログ･シンセサイザーという非常にシンプルな楽器編成のもと、すべてオーバー･ダビングなしのワンテイク録音で制作。3人の演奏者による楽譜に縛られないフリーな演奏は、まるで優しい親密な会話のよう。沈黙やためらいなどの内省の瞬間をもみずみずしく表現した美しく繊細なサウンドスケープをぜひ体感してください。

We are now stocking an electro-acoustic/minimalist work born of experimental improvisation, featuring three musicians associated with the London-based label SWIMS—which champions cutting-edge ambient, electronic, and experimental music. The trio consists of Richard Greenan (SWIMS co-founder, Kit Records founder, and multi-instrumentalist), Violeta Garcia (Buenos Aires-based cellist and experimental musician), and Galina Juritz (South African violinist and composer). Created during Garcia’s artist residency in London in 2022, the album features a stripped-back instrumentation of violin, cello, electric bass, and analog synthesizer, with every track recorded in a single take—completely free of overdubs. Unbound by written scores, the musicians engage in a free-flowing performance that feels like a gentle, intimate conversation. We invite you to experience this beautiful, delicate soundscape, which vividly captures moments of introspection—including silence and hesitation.
