Gurum Triads【TAPE】- Dane Law & Chants

ハープ奏者 Rhodri Davies とのコラボレーションなどで知られるロンドンを拠点とするミュージシャン Dane Law と、米ウィスコンシン拠点のドラマー Chants による初のコラボレーション作品。本作は、アコースティック・ギターをサンプル化してリアルタイムで即興演奏を可能にした Dane Law の自作ソフトでの演奏に、Chants がドラムとパーカッションのテープを提供しレコーディングされたもの。フリージャズ奏者の Jeff Snyder（ExclusiveOr、Listening Group）のエレクトロ・スティール弦楽器と、アップライトベースを演奏するBen Ferrisをフィーチャーしており、まるでアコースティック･セッションのように滑らかで壮大なサウンドスケープを展開したユニークな作品です。

This is the first collaborative work between London-based musician Dane Law, known for his collaborations with harpist Rhodri Davies, and Wisconsin-based drummer Chants. This work was recorded using Dane Law's homemade software, which samples acoustic guitar and enables real-time improvisation, with Chants providing drum and percussion tapes. Featuring free jazz musician Jeff Snyder (ExclusiveOr, Listening Group) on electro-steel strings and Ben Ferris on upright bass, this unique work unfolds a smooth and epic soundscape, reminiscent of an acoustic jam session.
