テクノ/ベース系を中心に尖ったラインナップを揃える、京都のレコード店 Sixth Garden Records からミックステープ･シリーズが始動しました。第1弾を手掛けたのは、レーベル Treasure Box 主宰、大阪〜京都ローカルを拠点に活動するDJ/プロデューサー Hankyovain。ぶっとい鳴りのキックに思わず身体が反応してしまうデトロイトやシカゴ･ハウス由来のアップリフティングなヒップ･ハウスに始まり、スウィートなディスコ/ソウル/R&Bなどのエディットも得意とする氏のグルーヴィーなアクセントも織り交ぜながら、哀愁漂うディープ･ハウスの波へと流れ込んでゆく90分のロング･ジャーニーを展開しています。現場の臨場感を感じられる直肌に伝わるエモーショナルなミキシングは鳥肌モノ。力強くソウルフルなハウス･グルーヴを全身で体感してください！

Sixth Garden Records, a Kyoto-based record store with a cutting-edge lineup centered on techno and bass, has launched a mixtape series. The first installment is produced by Hankyovain, a DJ/producer based in Osaka and Kyoto who runs the label Treasure Box. Starting with uplifting hip house inspired by Detroit and Chicago house, with a thumping kick that instantly gets your body moving, Hankyovain adds his own groovy accents, showcasing his expertise in sweet disco, soul, and R&B edits, and flows into waves of melancholic deep house on this 90-minute journey.
