LAのビートメーカーPAXによる2つのアルバム『Hazards!』（A面)『Tricot』(B面)がカセットテープとしてリリース！J-CARDがリバーシブルになっていて、ヴィジュアル面でも2枚のアルバムを楽しめる仕様。

語りと音響が心地よいバランスでミックスされた物語的エクスペリメンタル作品『Hazards!』。私立探偵フランクが行方不明の少女エレノアを追う、メイン州の不気味な海辺の町「Hazards」で展開される物語を描いた、オーディオ・ノベルのような音楽作品。「人間の深淵に潜む想念をどう扱うのか」という精神的葛藤を、暗く儚いストーリーテリングで表現している。

9分前後の全3トラックからなるウェスタン風短編作品『Tricot』。架空の知られざる土地「Tricot」を舞台に、旅・対話・夜明け前の儀式性を想起させる、映画的かつ音絵本的な世界観。

どちらもサイケデリック・フォークの側面が強い作品で、ゆったり軽やかに進みながらも、少し不穏な電子音がリスナーの心を惹きつけるPAXの私的な傑作！

Two albums by LA beat maker PAX, “Hazards!” (side A) and “Tricot” (side B), are now available as cassette tapes!

Hazards!" is a narrative experimental piece that mixes narrative and sound in a pleasing balance. This audio-novel-like musical work tells the story of Frank, a private detective on the trail of a missing girl, Eleanor, in the eerie seaside town of “Hazards” in Maine. The dark and fragile storytelling expresses the spiritual conflict of "how to handle the thoughts that lurk in the depths of human nature.

Tricot" is a Western-style short film consisting of three tracks, each around 9 minutes long. Set in the fictional, unknown land of “Tricot,” it evokes a cinematic and sound picture-book worldview of travel, dialogue, and pre-dawn ritualism.

Both works have a strong psychedelic folk aspect, and are PAX's personal masterpieces that move slowly and lightly, but still attract the listener with their slightly disturbing electronic sounds!
