The release of the Comic-Inspired Series is still fresh in our memories, and now Dutch-based vaporwave artist Maitro has arrived with his 2021 release focused on “midnight.” Using samples from fusion and 80's/90's pop music as his source material, he masterfully captures a soothing sense of floating and a touch of melancholy in his soundscapes. This is a wonderful piece that gently accompanies late-night drives under neon signs or the drowsy moments before bedtime.
