イタリア出身のDJ /アーティストであり、ユース･カルチャーの研究者でもある Gabber Eleganza によって設立された、ドイツはベルリンを拠点とするレイヴやハードコア（ガバ）のサブ･カルチャーに焦点を当てた多角的なインディーズ･レーベル/プラットフォーム Never Sleep が展開するチャリティ･テープ･シリーズ 第16弾！本作はベルリンのアンダーグラウンド電子音楽シーンの重鎮である Errorsmith が、2005年10月に録音した1時間弱のミックスをテープ化したもの。息つく暇もないスピード感で録音された本作では、流動的で極上のダンスホールやグライム、そしてアシッドなラガを縦横無尽に操り、コアな音楽オタクをも唸らせる緻密な構成を披露。音同士が強固に結びつき、粒子状に分散したテンポでブレンドされ、神秘的なループの再構築によってジャンルが変幻自在に変貌。かつてのダブ･テクノのイメージを完全に覆し、時代の枠組みを超えるマルチ･ジャンルなミックスに仕上がっております。なお、本作品のすべての収益は、世界中の危機的状況にある地域で人道支援活動を行う、国境なき医師団（MSF）に寄付されるとのこと。当時の固定観念化していたテクノのリズムから解放され、いつもとは違う音楽の空気を吸って踊ることを許された、美しくも儚い奇跡の瞬間を捉えたドキュメント的作品！

This is the 16th installment in the charity cassette series from "Never Sleep"—a Berlin-based, multifaceted indie label and platform founded by Italian DJ, artist, and youth culture researcher Gabber Eleganza, which focuses on rave and hardcore (gabber) subcultures. This release features a mix recorded in October 2005 by Errorsmith, a heavyweight of the Berlin underground electronic music scene. Delivered at a breathless pace, the mix showcases a meticulous composition that impresses even the most hardcore music geeks, seamlessly weaving together fluid, top-tier dancehall, grime, and acid-tinged ragga. Sounds are tightly interlocked and blended across tempos that seem to scatter into granular particles, while genres morph fluidly through the reconstruction of mystical loops. Completely overturning the conventional image of dub techno, the result is a multi-genre mix that transcends the frameworks of its era. All proceeds from this release will be donated to Doctors Without Borders (MSF), an organization providing humanitarian aid in crisis zones around the world. It is a documentary-style work that captures a beautiful, fleeting, and miraculous moment—a time when listeners were liberated from the rigid techno rhythms of the day and allowed to dance while breathing in a fresh, unique musical atmosphere.
