Based in Bandung, Indonesia, Dongker is a four-piece punk rock band currently commanding the most attention in the Indonesian indie scene. We have stocked the cassette edition of their second full-length album, originally released on August 28, 2026! As the title suggests, the album explores themes of deep-seated sorrow and anger born from a blend of personal disappointment and collective societal frustration. Across eleven tracks, the band channels the hardships faced by young people, personal traumas, and the sense of political stagnation in modern Indonesian society. In September 2026, they embarked on their first-ever Japan tour ("Dongker Japan Tour 2026") to support the release, performing at eight venues across the country—including Tokyo (Nishi-Ogikubo, Hatsudai, Nakano, Hachioji), Saitama, Nagoya, Osaka, and Yokohama—and sharing the stage with Japanese DIY hardcore and punk bands.
