国内外のヴェイパー･ウェイヴ/アンビエント･コミュニティーで高い評価を得ている、日本人アーティスト セカムの。主にBandcampを拠点に活動し、個人情報はほとんど明かされていない謎多き彼が、2026年2月にインドネシア発のヴェイパー･ウェイヴ系インディー･レーベル Enterprise Records からリリースしたカセットテープ作品をストックいたしました！彼の作品の多くが日本の原風景や何気ない日常の美しさをテーマにしており、日本の環境音楽の系譜を引く、美しいピアノの旋律を中心としたコテージ･コア（素朴な田舎暮らしにインスパイアされた美学）を基盤に、古いテレビやラジオのノイズ、テープの劣化を思わせるシグナル･ウェイヴのエッセンスを巧みにミックス。聴き手に「かつて見た景色」や「架空のノスタルジー」を抱かせる、非常に映像的で情景的なサウンドスケープを描いた全10曲を収録しております。

We are now stocking a cassette release from Sekamu, a Japanese artist highly acclaimed within the domestic and international vaporwave and ambient communities. Operating primarily via Bandcamp—and remaining a mysterious figure who reveals almost nothing about his personal life—Sekamu released this work in February 2026 through Enterprise Records, an Indonesian indie label specializing in vaporwave. His music often centers on themes of Japan’s pastoral landscapes and the beauty of ordinary daily life; drawing from the lineage of Japanese environmental music, he builds a foundation of beautiful piano melodies infused with "cottagecore" aesthetics (inspired by simple, rustic country living) and skillfully blends in "signalwave" elements—such as the noise of old televisions and radios and the sonic artifacts of tape degradation. The album features ten tracks that paint highly cinematic and evocative soundscapes, stirring up feelings of "scenery once seen" or a sense of "fictional nostalgia" in the listener.
