1992年にリリースされた、アコースティック・ヒップホップの先駆的アーティスト、Me Phi Meのデビュー・アルバム『One』のUSオリジナル・カセットテープ。

当時のシーンを席巻していたハードコアなヒップホップとは一線を画し、アコースティック・ギターの調べを大胆に取り入れたオーガニックでピースフルなサウンドが特徴です。名曲『Sad New Day』をはじめ、ポエトリーリーディングのような思索的なフロウと生楽器の温もりが融合した楽曲たちは、Arrested DevelopmentやP.M. Dawnなどと並び、90年代オルタナティヴ・ヒップホップの多様さと豊かさを象徴しています。
