Orchestrated Energy【TAPE】- Dday One

「Orchestrated Energy」は、サンプリングを基にした作曲と瞑想的なリズムアプローチで知られるLA拠点のプロデューサー"Dday One"の未公開の秘蔵音源。デビューアルバム『Loop Extensions』の20周年を記念してリリースされる本作は、彼の創作活動が形成期にあった時代（2005年以降）に制作された初期作品や未発表作品を収録している。

2025年に自身のデビュー20周年を記念を機にミニディスク、ZIPドライブ、カセットテープから発掘されたこれらのトラックはハードウェア・サンプラーのみで製作された。Dday Oneの初期サウンドの本質、レイヤーの層を成す質感と深い意図性を捉えている。

ベルギーのコラージュ作家ベン・クースマンスによるオリジナル・カバーアートは、非線形でアーカイブ的、そして不朽の音楽の精神を映し出している。

“Orchestrated Energy” is a collection of unreleased, treasured recordings by LA-based producer Dday One, known for his sampling-based compositions and meditative rhythmic approach. Released to commemorate the 20th anniversary of his debut album ‘Loop Extensions’, this work features early and previously unreleased material created during the formative period of his creative career (2005 onwards).

Unearthed from minidiscs, ZIP drives, and cassette tapes in 2025 to mark his own 20th anniversary, these tracks were crafted exclusively using hardware samplers. They capture the essence of Dday One's early sound—layered textures and profound intentionality.

The original cover art by Belgian collage artist Ben Coosmans reflects the nonlinear, archival, and timeless spirit of the music.
