ブラジルを代表するジャズ･ファンク･フュージョン･トリオ Azymuth が、1980年に発表した4枚目のスタジオ･アルバムをストックいたしました！彼らのトレードマークである、サンバのリズムにジャズ/ファンク/サイケデリックな電子音響を融合させた独自のスタイル「クレイジー･サンバ（Samba Doido）」が本作ではさらに洗練されており、ブラジリアン･クロスオーバー/レア･グルーヴの金字塔として世界中で高く評価されている傑作です。ロンドンのアンダーグラウンド･ディスコやジャズ･ダンス･シーンで大ヒットを記録した、本作を代表する屈指のジャズ･ファンク･クラシック"Dear Limmertz"(A4)や、日本の NHK-FM の深夜番組『クロスオーバーイレブン』のテーマ曲として使用されたことでも有名な"Un Amigo"(B3)の他、Azymuth 流に再構築した名カバーなど、全9曲を収録！

This masterpiece further refines their trademark "Samba Doido" (Crazy Samba) style—a unique fusion of samba rhythms with jazz, funk, and psychedelic electronic sounds—and is highly acclaimed worldwide as a landmark in Brazilian crossover and rare groove music. The album features nine tracks in total, including the standout jazz-funk classic "Dear Limmertz" (A4)—a massive hit in London's underground disco and jazz-dance scenes—and "Un Amigo" (B3), famous as the theme song for the late-night NHK-FM program *Crossover Eleven*, alongside brilliant covers reimagined in Azymuth's signature style.
