ニューヨークを拠点とするニューエイジ·アーキビスト Mark Griffey が Ultravillage 名義で再び GOOD MORNING TAPES にカムバック。彼の膨大なコレクションの中から、1970年代半ば～1990年代半ばにかけてのアンダーグラウンドなアンビエント/ミニマル/プログレッシブ·ロック/エレクトロニカ/ニューエイジ作品に焦点を当てたミックステープ音源となっております。Laraaji や Michael O’Shea の諸作を彷彿とさせる瞑想的なアンビエントが心地よい A面、シンセ·フルートや鍵盤、ギターのアルペジオが軽やかにたゆたい、プライベート·セッションのように音を紡ぐ B面、どちらも素晴らしい内容です。

New York-based New Age archivist Mark Griffey returns to GOOD MORNING TAPES under the Ultravillage moniker. This mixtape features selections from his vast collection, focusing on underground ambient, minimal, progressive rock, electronica, and New Age works spanning the mid-1970s to the mid-1990s. Side A offers a soothing meditative ambient sound reminiscent of works by Laraaji and Michael O'Shea, while Side B features light, flowing synth flute, keyboards, and guitar arpeggios, weaving sound like a private session. Both sides are superb.
