Perfection (30th Anniversary Edition)【TAPE】- Foesum

What You Won't Do for Love"をサンプリングした永遠のウエストコースト･クラシック"In The Wind (What Goes Around)"(A3)をはじめ、"Listen To The Sound"(A10)、"Some Things Never Change"(B4)など極上のメロウ･チューンを多数収録。

This year marks the 30th anniversary of the acclaimed debut album released under the name Foesum, and to celebrate, it is making a miraculous comeback as a 30th-anniversary edition on cassette tape! Foesum is a legendary hip-hop group hailing from Long Beach, California. During their days as the precursor group "Perfection," they collaborated with a pre-debut Snoop Dogg—a fellow local with whom they shared a close friendship. As the West Coast hip-hop movement surged following Snoop's debut, Foesum also made their major-label debut. The album is defined throughout by their signature sound—smooth, quintessential G-Funk—featuring standout tracks like the popular single "Lil' Somethin' Somethin'" (A4) and "Runnin' Game" (A6), which features Bo Roc of The Dove Shack. It also includes a wealth of superb mellow tunes, such as the timeless West Coast classic "In The Wind (What Goes Around)" (A3)—which samples Bobby Caldwell's masterpiece "What You Won't Do for Love"—as well as "Listen To The Sound" (A10) and "Some Things Never Change" (B4). Furthermore, three bonus tracks have been added, including the aforementioned "lost" collaboration with Snoop, "Let 'Em Understand" (B7)!
