ブラジルにて結成された5人（時には6人編成）のインストゥルメンタルなアヴァンギャルド・グループ！彼らのスタイルはサンバ、フォホー、ボサノヴァ、ランバダなどの伝統的なリズムを「分解し、再構築」した、挑発的かつディスソナントなサウンド。メンバーはクラシック音楽にも造詣が深く、MahlerやShostakovich、Stockhausen、Hermeto Pascoal、John Zornなど多彩な影響を受けているだとか。オランダやドイツの放送局による録画もされており、国際的にも注目されている存在。

Their style takes traditional rhythms such as samba, forró, bossa nova, and lambada and “deconstructs and reconstructs” them into a provocative and dissonant sound.

The members also have a strong background in classical music, drawing inspiration from a wide range of figures including Mahler, Shostakovich, Stockhausen, Hermeto Pascoal, and John Zorn.

Their performances have even been recorded by broadcasters in the Netherlands and Germany, making them a group that has attracted international attention.
