We are now stocking the sixth full-length album from Tokyo-based multi-instrumentalist and beatmaker Kazumi Kaneda, released in August 2026 via the popular Canadian lo-fi hip-hop/beat label, Inner Ocean Records. This highly sophisticated, jazzy instrumental hip-hop project draws upon the artist’s foundational roots in hip-hop and beat-making, while further integrating his exceptional skill as a jazz pianist. The album features 16 tracks that beautifully blend the complex, fluid piano arrangements of bebop and modern jazz with a satisfying, swinging drum groove. The compositions are woven together seamlessly, unfolding as a series of exquisite, concise instrumental pieces. The artwork, created by illustrator Stab Master Arson, vividly captures the world of the album. This release features full-body color printing and is limited to just 150 copies!
