This is a studio album released on August 24, 1990, by The Dramatics—a soul vocal group from Detroit—via Volt Records, the prestigious label under their former home, Stax. It is an ambitious work that blends the beautiful vocal harmonies and falsetto—their signature style honed since the 1970s—with the modern production techniques characteristic of the early 90s, the heyday of contemporary R&B. The album compiles nine tracks in total, including the title song "She's Stone Cold" (A2)—an uptempo number reflecting the trends of the era—and "If You Love Me" (A4), a slow jam that showcases their true essence and remains a favorite among soul fans.
