Tail of Diffraction【CD】- Minamo & Asuna

杉本佳一と安永哲郎によるエレクトロ･アコースティック･デュオ Minamo と電子音楽家 Asuna、日本の音響/アンビエン･シーンを牽引する2組のアーティストによる初のコラボレーション･アルバムが、NYの老舗エレクトロニカ/アンビエント･レーベル 12k からリリース。リードオルガン/ピアノ/ギターなどの生楽器と、電子音が優しく溶け合い、陽の光の揺らぎや水面のきらめき、清流を想起させるような繊細で美しい音像を構築。本作では、認知の外に対する意識をテーマに掲げており、お互いの持ち味を重ね合わせることで新たな音楽性を生み出しております。

Minamo, an electro-acoustic duo consisting of Keiichi Sugimoto and Tetsuro Yasunaga, and electronic musician Asuna, two artists who are leading the Japanese sound/ambient scene, have released their first collaborative album on 12k, a long-established electronica/ambient label in New York. Live instruments such as reed organ, piano, and guitar gently blend with electronic sounds, creating a delicate and beautiful soundscape that evokes the shimmering of sunlight, the sparkle of water, and the flow of a clear stream. This work is themed around awareness of what lies beyond perception, and by combining their respective strengths, they have created a new kind of music.
