アメリカのR&B/ソウル･シンガー Millie Jackson が、Millie Jackson and Cast 名義で1997年に発表したアルバムを入荷いたしました。本作は、彼女が手掛けたチトリン･サーキット（アフリカ系アメリカ人向けのエンターテインメント巡業）風のミュージカル『Young Man, Older Woman』の続編的サウンドトラックと位置づけられているアルバム。70年代を思わせるオーセンティックなソウル/R&Bスタイルをベースにしつつ、カントリー調の楽曲なども取り入れた全13曲を収録。スウィート･ソウルを代表するコーラス･グループ Ray, Goodman & Brown や、娘である Keisha Jackson もゲスト参加しています！

We have just received an album released in 1997 by American R&B/soul singer Millie Jackson, credited to "Millie Jackson and Cast." This album serves as a follow-up soundtrack to *Young Man, Older Woman*, a musical she created in the style of the "Chitlin' Circuit" (a touring entertainment network for African American audiences). It features 13 tracks that blend an authentic 1970s-style soul/R&B foundation with elements of country music. Guest appearances include the renowned sweet-soul vocal group Ray, Goodman & Brown, as well as her daughter, Keisha Jackson!
