ビートミュージックを軸にジャズ/アンビエント/エレクトロニカの要素を散りばめ、かつダンスミュージックの要素も含むコンセプトアルバムに仕上がっており、コラボレーターにはyutaka hirasakaのほかにアンビエント界からH.Takahashi、電子音楽界からNAKAMURA Hiroyuki (UN.a) とジャンルを越えた面々が参加!

TOMCが本作で表現しているのは、人生の岐路に立つ人たちが、それぞれの立場で迷いながらも、胸を高鳴らせて「本当の人生」を生きてほしいという純粋な願いであり、不確実な現代社会を生きるリスナーの人生を鼓舞し、祝福する誠実なヴァイブスに満ちた作品です。

“True Life,” the third full-length album by Japanese beat and ambient producer TOMC, has been released by the Canadian lo-fi hip-hop label Inner Ocean Records!

Centered around beat music and sprinkled with elements of jazz, ambient, and electronica—while also incorporating elements of dance music—this concept album features a cross-genre lineup of collaborators, including Yutaka Hirasaka, H. Takahashi from the ambient scene, and Hiroyuki Nakamura (UN.a) from the electronic music scene!

What TOMC expresses through this work is a pure wish for people standing at life’s crossroads—even as they struggle with uncertainty in their own situations—to live their “true lives” with hearts full of excitement.
