'Til Tuesday のデビュー・スタジオ・アルバム『Voices Carry』は、1985年4月に Epic Records からリリースされた作品です。
バンドはボストンで結成され、リード・ボーカル／ベースの Aimee Mann を中心にニュー・ウェイヴやポップ・ロックを軸としたサウンドで活動していました。

タイトル曲「Voices Carry」はアメリカで最大のヒットとなり、Billboard Hot 100で最高8位を記録。MTVでのビデオの露出も相まってバンドの知名度を大きく押し上げました。
アルバム全体も全米Billboard 200で19位に達し、シングル「Looking Over My Shoulder」や「Love in a Vacuum」など、多彩な楽曲を収めています。

'Til Tuesday's debut studio album, *Voices Carry*, was released in April 1985 by Epic Records.
The band formed in Boston and, led by lead vocalist and bassist Aimee Mann, focused on a sound centered around new wave and pop rock.

The title track, “Voices Carry,” became their biggest hit in the U.S., peaking at No. 8 on the Billboard Hot 100. Combined with heavy airplay of the music video on MTV, this significantly boosted the band's profile.
The album itself reached No. 19 on the US Billboard 200 and features a diverse collection of tracks, including the singles “Looking Over My Shoulder” and “Love in a Vacuum.”

While embodying the sensibilities of mid-80s new wave and pop rock, *Voices Carry* made a striking impression as the band’s debut with a sound centered on emotional lyrics and melodies.
