Polish sound artist Tomasz Bednarczyk released this 2022 work on the long-established New York electronica/ambient label 12k. Using field recordings from around the world that he recorded over 10 years with smartphones and recorders as material, he first deconstructs the collected environmental sounds into fragments. He then meticulously reconstructs them to create entirely new sounds, and the minimalist sound structure slowly changes. At times melancholic, at times warm, the result is a lyrical soundscape.
